Media Training courses

We organize intensive Media Training courses for professionals who want to effectively exploit the opportunities offered by various communication platforms: TV, radio, print media, and social networks.

Topics Covered:

  • Leading a meeting with one or more journalists.

  • Facing the cameras while managing the flow of questions.

  • Controlling one's emotions during times of personal difficulty and/or company crises.

  • Measuring the use of words, timing of a response, pauses, restarts, and verbal thrusts.

  • Learning to always find the simplest and most comprehensible concepts.

Course Objective:

How to build a better message and communicate it effectively.

  • The fundamental concepts of communication should be few and always accompanied by relevant data, examples, and demonstrations.

  • The communication must appear credible, logical, and consistent with the broader corporate strategy. To be more effective, it is necessary to develop content that is current, novel, breaks continuity, and is extremely simple to be remembered. When preparing for an interview, one must never forget the ongoing evolution in the media: oriented towards synthesis, prevalence of video, and dissemination filtered through social networks, thus: succinct, concise, and indexable.

  • Developing the best content is not an abstract exercise; on the contrary, it must consider various factors: the characteristics of the media outlet, the timeliness of the news, the profile of the journalist conducting the interview, and the target audience for our messages. Mastery of these factors will contribute to creating a communication strategy that should always start with one simple question: "Will this interview be useful?" Media exposure is an opportunity for visibility for management and the company, but if approached spontaneously and without preparation, it can turn into a dangerous boomerang. “Last but not least”: mastering the language of our body, carefully choosing the colors of our clothing and the attire itself in relation to the context in which we will participate.

Structure of a Lesson:

Theoretical: Focused on the study of the "Birth of a News Story," the reasons it is chosen, and what is expected from the direct or indirect protagonists in response. Understanding the main dynamics governing news management will help avoid being caught off guard. Never forget that at that moment, it is from you, and only you, that responses are expected.

Practical: Includes simulations and exercises in front of a camera to explore and correct possible errors in body language, use of space and voice, and in managing emotions and stress. The footage will be reviewed and commented on, and the interview will be repeated as many times as necessary to improve the most critical aspects.

The basic course involves a day of work with two different groups of professionals:

  • Communication experts and journalists;

  • TV and/or radio hosts and directors.
